A long night at Camp 1

It is nearly 9:30am Thursday morning on Mt Elbrus. The team had a very rough night with harsh weather. The wind picked up to 65 mph with snow and one of the tents collapsed. The team was forced into the rescue hut at 12,000 ft. They are all tired but doing well. Some of the gear has been buried in the snow so today will include digging out gear, drying clothes, and reassembling camp. Thank you all for the messages of encouragement!
